Game Cancellations
& Inclement Weather
We will make every attempt to inform players as early
as possible if a cancellation decision has been made. Please ensure your
contact information is correct. Check your e-mail before heading out to the
course when foul weather in the area. If unsure of course conditions protocol
dictates we go to the course. The decision to play or not will be determined by
at least “3” members of the Rules Committee.
Note:
Intermittent showers or drizzle will not cause a cancellation.

of Play Awareness & Tips***

Tee off as
per ability. (long hitters last)
-
2 min lost
ball search, drop a ball & move on.
-
Play “ready”
golf, be prepared to hit your shot.
-
Putt when
able & ready, don’t wait for “proper order”.
-
Clear green
immediately after the group putts outs.
-
Discuss
& fill out the score card at the next Tee.
-
Silent your
cell phone or put it away.
-
Be aware
& keep up to the group “ahead” of you.
-
If you can’t
see the group ahead of you, speed up!

Default Rules for Absent Teams or
Players
* Both players on a Team do not show up for the round.
-
That Team forfeits 4 points. The opposing Team must play the round for
HDCP & hand in a score
card to earn the 4 points.
* 1 player from a Team does not show up for the round.

That Team forfeits 2 points.
-
The remaining 2 points are played for by the single player against 1
player from the opposing Team.
-
Prior to the match the Full Team chooses who will play against the
single Team Player. (HDCP applies)
-
1 point is awarded for strokes and 1 point is awarded for holes.
-
The non-competing player from the full Team must still play for their
individual HDCP and to earn the defaulted 2 points.
* Only 1 player from each Team shows up for the round.

Both Teams forfeit 2 points due to the 1 player default rule for each
team.
-
Both Team players play head to head for 2 points only.
* To win any default points, the player or team must play the round and
hand in a scorecard.
